A railway station is a place where trains stop. Many people come here every day. Some people come to get on a train. Some come to meet their family or friends. A railway station is usually a busy place. There are ticket counters, waiting rooms, shops, and platforms. People buy tickets from the ticket counter. Then they wait for their train. Some people sit on benches. Some walk on the platform. Hawkers sell tea, water, snacks, and newspapers. Porters carry bags and other things for passengers. When a train comes, the station becomes very busy. People get on the train, and some people get off. The guard gives a signal, and the train leaves the station. Then the station becomes quiet again. A railway station is an important place for travel. It helps people go from one place to another.

রেলওয়ে স্টেশন হলো এমন একটি জায়গা যেখানে ট্রেন থামে। প্রতিদিন অনেক মানুষ এখানে আসে। কেউ ট্রেনে ওঠার জন্য আসে। কেউ পরিবার বা বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে আসে। রেলওয়ে স্টেশন সাধারণত একটি ব্যস্ত জায়গা। সেখানে টিকিট কাউন্টার, অপেক্ষার ঘর, দোকান এবং প্ল্যাটফর্ম থাকে। মানুষ টিকিট কাউন্টার থেকে টিকিট কেনে। তারপর তারা ট্রেনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করে। কেউ বেঞ্চে বসে। কেউ প্ল্যাটফর্মে হাঁটে। ফেরিওয়ালারা চা, পানি, নাশতা এবং সংবাদপত্র বিক্রি করে। কুলিরা যাত্রীদের ব্যাগ ও অন্যান্য জিনিস বহন করে। ট্রেন এলে স্টেশন খুব ব্যস্ত হয়ে যায়। মানুষ ট্রেনে ওঠে এবং কেউ কেউ ট্রেন থেকে নামে। গার্ড সংকেত দেন এবং ট্রেন স্টেশন ছেড়ে যায়। তারপর স্টেশন আবার শান্ত হয়ে যায়। ভ্রমণের জন্য রেলওয়ে স্টেশন একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জায়গা। এটি মানুষকে এক জায়গা থেকে অন্য জায়গায় যেতে সাহায্য করে।
