A rainy day is a day when it rains a lot. The sky looks dark and cloudy. Sometimes, it rains from morning to night. Roads become wet and muddy. Students cannot go to school easily. Many people stay at home. Children enjoy the day at home. They play games, read books, or watch television. Some people sit by the window and enjoy the rain. Poets often write poems about rain and nature. Rich people can enjoy good food at home. But poor people suffer a lot. Many poor people cannot go out for work. If they cannot work, they cannot earn money. Then they may not be able to buy food for their families. Farmers are often happy because rain helps their crops grow. But too much rain can cause problems. Roads may go under water, and people may find it hard to travel. I like a rainy day, but I also feel sorry for poor people who suffer on such a day.

বর্ষার দিন হলো এমন একটি দিন যেদিন অনেক বৃষ্টি হয়। আকাশ অন্ধকার ও মেঘলা দেখায়। কখনো কখনো সকাল থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত বৃষ্টি হয়। রাস্তা ভিজে ও কাদাময় হয়ে যায়। শিক্ষার্থীরা সহজে স্কুলে যেতে পারে না। অনেক মানুষ বাড়িতে থাকে। শিশুরা বাড়িতে দিনটি উপভোগ করে। তারা খেলাধুলা করে, বই পড়ে বা টেলিভিশন দেখে। কিছু মানুষ জানালার পাশে বসে বৃষ্টি উপভোগ করে। কবিরা প্রায়ই বৃষ্টি ও প্রকৃতি নিয়ে কবিতা লেখেন। ধনী মানুষ বাড়িতে ভালো খাবার উপভোগ করতে পারে। কিন্তু গরিব মানুষ অনেক কষ্ট পায়। অনেক গরিব মানুষ কাজে যেতে পারে না। তারা কাজ করতে না পারলে টাকা আয় করতে পারে না। তখন তারা পরিবারের জন্য খাবার কিনতে নাও পারে। কৃষকেরা প্রায়ই খুশি হন, কারণ বৃষ্টি তাদের ফসল বড় হতে সাহায্য করে। কিন্তু বেশি বৃষ্টি সমস্যা সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। রাস্তা পানির নিচে চলে যেতে পারে এবং মানুষের চলাচল কঠিন হতে পারে। আমি বর্ষার দিন পছন্দ করি, কিন্তু এমন দিনে গরিব মানুষের কষ্টের জন্য আমার খারাপও লাগে।
