A Road Accident I Have Witnessed

Last year, I saw a road accident near our school. It happened in the morning when I was going to school with a friend. A man was crossing the road. At that time, a motorcycle came very fast. The rider could not stop in time, and the motorcycle hit the man. He fell on the road, and the rider also fell down. Many people came there at once. Some people helped the injured man, while another person called for help. Someone stopped a car, and they took the man to a nearby hospital. The motorcycle rider was also hurt, but not badly. I felt very sad and afraid when I saw the accident. It happened because the motorcycle was moving too fast. The accident taught me an important lesson. Drivers should never drive too fast, and people should look both ways before crossing a road. Both drivers and walkers should follow traffic rules. A little care can save a life. I will always remember that road accident.
