Deforestation means cutting down too many trees. It is a serious problem because trees are very important for people, animals, and nature. People cut trees for wood, farming, roads, houses, and new buildings. But when too many trees are cut down, many problems begin. Birds and animals lose their homes. The land becomes hotter and drier. Heavy rain can wash away the soil, and the weather may also become worse. Trees give us oxygen, fruits, wood, and shade. They also help keep the air cool and fresh. So, we should not cut trees without need. When old trees are cut, new trees should be planted. We should also take care of young trees and help them grow. Students and other people can plant trees near homes, schools, roads, and open places. Everyone can help in this work. More trees can make our country green, cool, and beautiful. Trees are very important for life. Therefore, we should stop unnecessary cutting and save trees for a safer earth.

বন উজাড় অর্থ অতিরিক্ত গাছ কেটে ফেলা। এটি একটি গুরুতর সমস্যা, কারণ গাছ মানুষ, প্রাণী ও প্রকৃতির জন্য খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। মানুষ কাঠ, চাষাবাদ, রাস্তা, বাড়ি ও নতুন ভবনের জন্য গাছ কাটে। কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত গাছ কাটা হলে অনেক সমস্যা শুরু হয়। পাখি ও প্রাণীরা তাদের বাসস্থান হারায়। জমি আরও গরম ও শুকনো হয়ে যায়। ভারী বৃষ্টি মাটি ধুয়ে নিতে পারে এবং আবহাওয়াও খারাপ হতে পারে। গাছ আমাদের অক্সিজেন, ফল, কাঠ ও ছায়া দেয়। বাতাসকে ঠান্ডা ও সতেজও রাখে। তাই প্রয়োজন ছাড়া গাছ কাটা উচিত নয়। পুরোনো গাছ কাটলে নতুন গাছ লাগানো উচিত। ছোট গাছের যত্ন নিয়ে বড় হতে সাহায্য করতে হবে। ছাত্রছাত্রী ও অন্যরা বাড়ি, স্কুল, রাস্তা ও খোলা জায়গার পাশে গাছ লাগাতে পারে। সবাই এ কাজে সাহায্য করতে পারে। বেশি গাছ আমাদের দেশকে সবুজ, ঠান্ডা ও সুন্দর করতে পারে। জীবনের জন্য গাছ খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তাই অপ্রয়োজনীয় গাছ কাটা বন্ধ করে নিরাপদ পৃথিবীর জন্য গাছ রক্ষা করা উচিত।
