Early marriage means marriage at a very young age. It is a serious social problem because young boys and girls are not ready for family life. They need time to study, grow, and prepare for the future. Early marriage can stop a child’s education. A girl may have to leave school after marriage, and a boy may have to start work too early. Young people may also find it difficult to care for a family. Early marriage can be especially harmful to the health of a young girl. A young mother may become weak or sick, and her baby may also have health problems. Early marriage can also make family life difficult and unhappy. Parents should not marry their children too early. Instead, they should help them finish school and grow up safely. Teachers and other people can also make families aware of the problem. Young people need education, good health, and a safe future. Therefore, we should all work together to stop early marriage.
বাংলা অর্থ:
বাল্যবিবাহ অর্থ খুব কম বয়সে বিয়ে। এটি একটি গুরুতর সামাজিক সমস্যা, কারণ কম বয়সী ছেলে-মেয়েরা পারিবারিক জীবনের জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকে না। তাদের পড়াশোনা, বেড়ে ওঠা ও ভবিষ্যতের জন্য প্রস্তুত হওয়ার সময় দরকার। বাল্যবিবাহ শিশুর পড়াশোনা বন্ধ করে দিতে পারে। বিয়ের পর একটি মেয়েকে স্কুল ছাড়তে হতে পারে এবং একটি ছেলেকে খুব তাড়াতাড়ি কাজ শুরু করতে হতে পারে। কম বয়সীদের জন্য পরিবার চালানোও কঠিন হতে পারে। বিশেষ করে বাল্যবিবাহ কম বয়সী মেয়ের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য ক্ষতিকর। কম বয়সী মা দুর্বল বা অসুস্থ হতে পারে এবং তার শিশুরও স্বাস্থ্য সমস্যা হতে পারে। বাল্যবিবাহ পারিবারিক জীবনকে কঠিন ও অসুখীও করতে পারে। বাবা-মায়ের উচিত নয় সন্তানদের কম বয়সে বিয়ে দেওয়া। বরং তাদের পড়াশোনা শেষ করতে ও নিরাপদে বড় হতে সাহায্য করা উচিত। শিক্ষক ও অন্যরাও পরিবারগুলোকে এ সমস্যা সম্পর্কে সচেতন করতে পারেন। তরুণদের শিক্ষা, সুস্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপদ ভবিষ্যৎ দরকার। তাই বাল্যবিবাহ বন্ধ করতে আমাদের সবাইকে একসঙ্গে কাজ করতে হবে।
