Sound Pollution

Sound pollution means too much noise around us. It is a common problem in towns and cities. Loud horns from cars, buses, and trucks make a lot of noise. Machines, building work, loud music, and microphones can also cause sound pollution. Too much noise is bad for our health. It can give us a headache and make us tired, angry, or unable to sleep well. Students cannot study properly in a noisy place. Sick people and old people may also suffer more from loud noise. We can reduce sound pollution in simple ways. Drivers should not use horns without need. People should not play loud music, especially at night. Microphones should also be used carefully. Schools and hospitals should have quiet areas around them. Everyone should try to keep unnecessary noise low. A quiet place is good for both our body and mind. So, we should all be careful about noise and help reduce sound pollution.

শব্দদূষণ অর্থ আমাদের চারপাশে অতিরিক্ত শব্দ। শহর ও নগরে এটি একটি সাধারণ সমস্যা। গাড়ি, বাস ও ট্রাকের জোরে হর্ন অনেক শব্দ সৃষ্টি করে। যন্ত্র, নির্মাণকাজ, উচ্চস্বরে গান ও মাইক্রোফোনও শব্দদূষণ সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। অতিরিক্ত শব্দ আমাদের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য খারাপ। এতে মাথাব্যথা হতে পারে এবং আমরা ক্লান্ত, বিরক্ত হতে পারি বা ভালোভাবে ঘুমাতে নাও পারি। শব্দপূর্ণ জায়গায় ছাত্ররা ভালোভাবে পড়তে পারে না। অসুস্থ ও বয়স্ক মানুষও জোরে শব্দে বেশি কষ্ট পেতে পারেন। সহজ কিছু উপায়ে শব্দদূষণ কমানো যায়। প্রয়োজন ছাড়া চালকদের হর্ন বাজানো উচিত নয়। বিশেষ করে রাতে জোরে গান বাজানো উচিত নয়। মাইক্রোফোনও সাবধানে ব্যবহার করা উচিত। স্কুল ও হাসপাতালের চারপাশ শান্ত থাকা উচিত। সবাইকে অপ্রয়োজনীয় শব্দ কম রাখার চেষ্টা করতে হবে। শান্ত জায়গা শরীর ও মনের জন্য ভালো। তাই শব্দের ব্যাপারে আমাদের সবাইকে সতর্ক থাকতে হবে এবং শব্দদূষণ কমাতে সাহায্য করতে হবে।
