Traffic jam is a common problem in Bangladesh. It happens when many vehicles get stuck on the road and cannot move easily. It often happens in big cities and busy towns. There are many causes of traffic jam. Too many cars, buses, trucks, and other vehicles use the roads. Many roads are narrow. Some shops stand beside the road and take up road space. People also park vehicles beside the road. Some drivers do not follow traffic rules. Buses often stop here and there to take passengers. These things make the roads very busy. Traffic jams cause many problems. Students may be late for school. Workers may be late for work. Sick people may have problems on the way to hospital. Traffic jams also waste our time. We can reduce traffic jams in many ways. Drivers should follow traffic rules. People should not park vehicles in the wrong place. Shops should not take up road space. Traffic police should control busy roads. We should all help to reduce traffic jams.

ট্রাফিক জ্যাম বাংলাদেশে একটি সাধারণ সমস্যা। যখন অনেক যানবাহন রাস্তায় আটকে যায় এবং সহজে চলতে পারে না, তখন ট্রাফিক জ্যাম হয়। এটি বড় শহর ও ব্যস্ত শহরে বেশি হয়। ট্রাফিক জ্যামের অনেক কারণ আছে। অনেক গাড়ি, বাস, ট্রাক এবং অন্যান্য যানবাহন রাস্তায় চলে। অনেক রাস্তা সরু। কিছু দোকান রাস্তার পাশে থাকে এবং রাস্তার জায়গা দখল করে। মানুষ রাস্তার পাশেও যানবাহন রাখে। কিছু চালক ট্রাফিক নিয়ম মানে না। বাসগুলো প্রায়ই যাত্রী তোলার জন্য এখানে-সেখানে থামে। এসব কারণে রাস্তা খুব ব্যস্ত হয়ে যায়। ট্রাফিক জ্যাম অনেক সমস্যা সৃষ্টি করে। শিক্ষার্থীরা স্কুলে দেরি করতে পারে। কর্মজীবী মানুষ কাজে দেরি করতে পারে। অসুস্থ মানুষ হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার পথে সমস্যায় পড়তে পারে। ট্রাফিক জ্যাম আমাদের সময়ও নষ্ট করে। আমরা অনেকভাবে ট্রাফিক জ্যাম কমাতে পারি। চালকদের ট্রাফিক নিয়ম মানা উচিত। মানুষের ভুল জায়গায় যানবাহন রাখা উচিত নয়। দোকানগুলোর রাস্তার জায়গা দখল করা উচিত নয়। ট্রাফিক পুলিশের ব্যস্ত রাস্তা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা উচিত। ট্রাফিক জ্যাম কমাতে আমাদের সবার সাহায্য করা উচিত।
