Tree plantation means planting trees. Trees are very useful to us because they give us oxygen, fruits, wood, and shade. They also make the air fresh and cool. Many birds live in trees, and some animals get food from them. Trees make our homes, schools, roads, and fields green and beautiful. They also help keep the soil safe. So, trees are very important for our life. However, people cut down many trees every year. This is harmful to us and to nature. For this reason, we should plant more trees. The rainy season is a good time for tree plantation because young trees get enough water then. We can plant trees near our houses, schools, roads, and fields. But planting a tree is not enough. We should also take care of it. We should give it water and keep it safe from animals. Students can also plant and care for trees at school. If possible, everyone should plant at least one tree. More trees can make our country green and beautiful. Tree plantation is good for us and for the earth.

বৃক্ষরোপণ অর্থ গাছ লাগানো। গাছ আমাদের খুব উপকারী, কারণ এগুলো অক্সিজেন, ফল, কাঠ ও ছায়া দেয়। গাছ বাতাসকে সতেজ ও ঠান্ডা রাখে। অনেক পাখি গাছে থাকে এবং কিছু প্রাণী গাছ থেকে খাবার পায়। গাছ আমাদের বাড়ি, স্কুল, রাস্তা ও মাঠকে সবুজ ও সুন্দর করে। গাছ মাটিও রক্ষা করে। তাই গাছ আমাদের জীবনের জন্য খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কিন্তু মানুষ প্রতি বছর অনেক গাছ কেটে ফেলে। এটি আমাদের ও প্রকৃতির জন্য ক্ষতিকর। তাই আমাদের আরও বেশি গাছ লাগানো উচিত। বর্ষাকাল বৃক্ষরোপণের ভালো সময়, কারণ তখন ছোট গাছ পর্যাপ্ত পানি পায়। আমরা বাড়ি, স্কুল, রাস্তা ও মাঠের পাশে গাছ লাগাতে পারি। কিন্তু শুধু গাছ লাগালেই হবে না। এর যত্নও নিতে হবে। পানি দিতে হবে এবং পশু থেকে রক্ষা করতে হবে। ছাত্ররাও স্কুলে গাছ লাগাতে ও যত্ন নিতে পারে। সম্ভব হলে সবার অন্তত একটি গাছ লাগানো উচিত। বেশি গাছ আমাদের দেশকে সবুজ ও সুন্দর করতে পারে। বৃক্ষরোপণ আমাদের ও পৃথিবীর জন্য ভালো।
